London 2007 Day 1: Along the Thames

The Gherkin, nickname given because of the form of the tower. Also the Crystal Phallus.
"Le Cornichon" : surnom donné au 30 St Mary Axe en référence à sa forme. Aussi nommé le Crystal Phallus.

The London Tower and its skate rink. I decided not to visit because of the never-ending queue.

London 2007 Day 1: Greenwich

En guise de (couteux) cadeau de Noël, ce fut pour moi quelques jours à Londres, entre Noël et le Nouvel Ans.

Le programme était simple: faire le touriste, oublier les cours et la Roche-sur-Yon, et allez voir Avenue Q au Noël Coward Theatre !

La première matiné, ce fut direction le parc de Greenwich, puisque j'y logeais à quelques centaines de mètres, à St Christopher Inn Greenwich, sympatique bar-hôtel, un peu bruyant en Week-End !

As a (expensive) Christmas gift, it was for me few days in London, between Christmas and New Year Eve.

Simple programm: acting like a tourist, forgetting about the school, and watching Avenue Q in Noël Coward Theatre !

The first morning, direction Greenwich park, because I was living close to it, in St Christopher Inn Greenwich, nice pub-hotel, little noisy during the Week-End !
